The Village

A group for parents of neurodivergent kids

Support Group Interest Form

Parenting a Neurodivergent Child Is Hard. You Shouldn’t Have to Do It Alone.

Raising a neurodivergent child is a journey filled with love, complexity, and often, deep exhaustion. You’re not just managing behaviors or navigating systems. You’re holding the emotional weight of your child’s experience while trying to stay grounded yourself. That’s a lot to carry on your own.

This 12-week parenting support group and coaching program was created just for you - the parent who feels isolated, overwhelmed, or simply in need of a village that gets it.

By the end of this group, you will:

  • Feel less isolated and more understood by a supportive parent community
  • Gain a deeper understanding of your child’s brain, behavior, and needs
  • Learn practical strategies for handling tricky parenting moments with more calm and clarity
  • Build your own regulation and resilience because your well-being matters, too

This group is about supporting YOU, the parent, as you build a home environment that works for your neurodivergent family.

Group Structure

Each session is a 60 minute live Zoom call and follows a predictable, supportive format. In addition to the weekly sessions, you will receive access to a Private Facebook chat  for ongoing support and weekly resources, prompts, or worksheets. Each call will include the following:

Space to share what resonates, ask questions, and connect with others who truly get it.

Live Hot Seat Coaching

FAQs

  • Are there additional resources for each topic that will be discussed if I want to learn more?

Each participant will receive lifetime access to a full 12 week curriculum with videos, workbooks, and reflective questions. The topics include but are not limited to the nervous system, communication, mindsight and brain science, anger and healthy aggression, and play and storytelling.

  • What if I miss a session?

No problem — all sessions are recorded and available for replay.

  • What ages of children is this group for?

Most participants have kids between 4–12, but the tools and support can apply broadly.

  • Do I need an official diagnosis for my child?

No diagnosis required. If your child is neurodivergent, suspected to be, or you just know parenting feels extra, you’re in the right place.

  • What’s a “hot seat” and do I have to participate?

A hot seat is a 1:1 live coaching opportunity during the group session. It’s optional — you can watch, learn, and support without being in the spotlight.

  • Can both parents join the group together? How does pricing work?

Yes! Both parents are welcome to join. You can participate individually, or as a parenting team. If both parents join, I offer a discounted household rate: full price for the first parent and 50% off for the second parent. Each parent receives their own access to the resource portal and their own opportunity for hot seat coaching. This helps ensure both of you are supported while keeping the group balanced and effective.

  • What if I want more support beyond the group?

You’ll have the option to book individual coaching with Ashley at a discounted rate during the program.

Inside the Village: Real Conversations

After completing the 12 week group, one parent shared the following:

I love your ability to mix humor with serious topics! And you are always so gracious and relational when giving advice; rather than just offering correction, you are intentional about acknowledging the work that we are putting in and that it’s about the process, not perfection.

My son and I have developed a deeper connection because I truly think he feels safer now. The tactics I am able to use have helped him calm down more quickly than before, and it doesn’t feel like we are always in opposition with each other.

This class was so informative and fun! Most importantly, I felt incredibly supported and seen by being in the group setting with other moms going through similar scenarios. It felt like having a call with three friends just hanging out and talking about our kids when we met! I feel more prepared and have tangible strategies to use, and I love that I have continued access to the resources so I can go back and review them when I need a refresher.

The following chats are unedited moments from our private group chat. Names have been removed for privacy. Real questions, real support, and real connection. This is the heart of the community parents create together inside these groups.

Relatability and Humor

Because ADHD Parenting is a LOT!

Parent [1]: “My thoughts are like a ball in one of those ping-pong arcade machines—they just bounce from one thing to the next and it’s hard to follow sometimes.”

Parent [3]: “Umm… it’s called ADHD and these are my fave people lol. Also same—because if you can’t simultaneously have three conversations in one… what are you even doing?”

Feeling Less Alone

The relief of realizing someone "gets it" and is walking through the same things.

Parent [1]:  “Thanks Ashley, thank you for seeing me and understanding it/me. It’s so nice to hear someone who gets it and actually explain it.”

Parent [2]:  “Ashley—thank you for sharing that you are going through so many of the same things that we are. Always appreciate your realness, cause we are all out here just doing our best.”

Parent [3]:  “It is really upsetting to get notes from school. When we first started with my oldest in preschool, I used to get REALLY anxious about it. I’ve walked out of a parent/teacher conference in tears. So I get ittttt.”

Parent [2]:  “Ahhh thank you for understanding where my brain is right now. I know I’m falsely linking my worth as a mom/person to my child’s behavior—but dang, it’s hard not to do that!!”

Parent [1]: “I’m so thankful for you coaching us through it—and for you, [Parent 2], and [Parent 3] being part of the process for support, connection, and encouragement. It’s definitely no accident we are here.”

Parent [2]: “I could not agree more!”

Parent [3]: “It's so nice to have a space like this with moms who really get it.”

Parent [2]: “I agree!”

Shifting Patterns & Mindset Changes

Parents noticing real change, in themselves and in their parenting.

Parent [3]: “I already did a private coaching series with Ashley and my husband, which has honestly been a life-changing experience. I knew when we finished that I wanted to revisit the material again—and this group seems like such a great way to do that. The biggest thing I'd like to get out of this group is shared learning.”

Parent [2]: “Ashley, thank you for your voice message!! I really do feel like I’m shifting my mindset SO much.”
